Keeping In touch Day 2

Day 2 Mac-less. I used the notes application to keep track of incidental expenses. I’m just going to email it to my work account when I get home. I have noticed that my thumb typing has improved as well.
Found a couple of places to eat and have a happy hour cocktail using various location aware apps. Most were free, especially the “Going Out Guide” from the Washington Post.
Finding wifi hot spots in the big city has been stupid easy. There are Starbucks everywhere. Most other coffee houses have it as well. Of course, I’m using it at the hotel too.
The dining guide was right on as well. I found a great place called DC Coast. The food was awesome! The clientel consisted of mostly lawyers (figure the odds in DC) and other professional folk on their way home from work. Everyone is very well dressed and quite sociable. I will defnitely have to *Yelp this place. Back at the hotel, I checked emails, bank stuff, and tucked in.
Don’t tell anyone, but I’m kinda diggin’ this place.
